The home inspection is a complete evaluation of a structure (house) and its major systems. |
WHO PERFORMS THE HOME INSPECTION? |
The home inspection is performed by qualified Inspectors who have vast experience in home inspections and construction of buildings (residential and commercial). |
WHAT DOES THE HOME INSPECTION INCLUDE? |
The inspection begins with an evaluation of the exterior components of the structure: Roof, Leader and Gutter, Chimney, Siding, Trim, Grading, Sidewalks, Driveway, Windows, Doors, Garage, Porches, Decks, etc. The inspection continues with an evaluation of the major systems: Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, Domestic Hot Water, Central Air Conditioning, etc. The structure is evaluated next from the Basement: Foundation, Wood Framing System, Girders, Joists, Columns, Settlement, Water Conditions, etc. A room to room check is then performed, identifying the type and condition of: Ceiling, Walls, Floor, Heating, Window System, Closets, Fireplace, Water Pressure, Drainage, etc. The attic is then inspected, evaluating the: Wood Framing System: Rafters, Joists, Ridge, Sheathing, Insulation, Ventilation, Flooring, Attic Fans, etc. |
